Scott McFarland has spent the last 25 years managing and leading venture-backed technology companies, and joined ProctorU in the summer of 2016. His main focus has been to bring teams together by creating actionable strategy plans, building enterprise value and producing results that have led to acquisitions by Computer Sciences Corporation, McKesson, Stanley Black and Decker and others. As part of senior leadership at Emageon, McFarland led the operations division through significant growth period from 2001 to a public offering in 2005. More recently, McFarland was CEO at Awarix, General Manager at AeroScout, and COO at PerfectServe, a secure clinical communications system. McFarland holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Toledo.

Jarrod is the founder of ProctorU and was the company's first proctor. He created the initial prototype of the service to fill a need for Andrew Jackson University, where he served as director of technology. He works out of ProctorU's Birmingham, Ala., office where he coordinates the marketing and partnership aspects of the company. In 2013, the Birmingham Business Journal named Jarrod one of the area's Top 40 People Under 40. When not at ProctorU, Jarrod spends time with his two daughters, Maddie and Lizzie. He is a dedicated foodie, devoted Catholic and gourmet beer connoisseur. He studied computer science at the University of Florida and is a die-hard Gators fan.
Chief Technical Officer

Matt is the chief technical officer at ProctorU. Matt brought his experience in management and technology from Best Buy’s Geek Squad to enhance the ProctorU team in 2011. He helped develop early components of ProctorU’s proctoring process and works out of the office in Birmingham, Ala. His responsibilities include providing leadership and direction in all aspects of information technology to achieve strategic technological and business objectives. Matt graduated from the University of Florida and has a background in computer software engineering. He enjoys spending time with his family, making music and competing in triathlons.
Vice President of Business Development
A product can make a company good. The people can make a company great.
Lynn is the vice president of business development for ProctorU. He was motivated to join ProctorU by the opportunity to develop innovative models and a desire to change the way education is being delivered. His tenure of more than 20 years across the higher education industry with firms such as Pearson Custom, McGraw-Hill Solutions and Ginkgotree Digital has offered a strong foundation for growing revenue, building competitive teams and targeting the next generation of partnerships. Lynn works out of the office in Austin, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his wife Laurie and their two children.
Chief Marketing Officer
Stephanie Dille has spent her career in a variety of marketing roles within the testing industry. Joining ProctorU in April 2017, Stephanie is responsible for leading global marketing, product management and helping instill our brand values deep into the ProctorU culture. Prior to joining ProctorU, Stephanie spent 26 years at Pearson, the last 16 at Pearson VUE where she was Vice President, Global Marketing. During her time at Pearson VUE, she transformed marketing into a global, integrated team that included strategic marketing, marketing communications, international, web, proposals, publications and marketing analytics. Stephanie believes an understanding of the market and focus on the customer experience are key to success. She works closely with clients, industry organizations and business development to keep abreast of ever changing market needs. Stephanie came to ProctorU because she believes its innovative and technology-based solutions are critical to meeting the growing demand for access in education and are needed to continue to evolve the industry while maintaining the value and integrity of testing.
Vice President of Operations
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
Steve is the vice president of operations at ProctorU. He joined ProctorU in early 2014 to oversee the growing operations team. He has supervised numerous large projects as the general manager of Regional Homebuilding Company and worked as an investigator for the Escambia County Sheriff’s office in Florida. His sincere honesty and personal approach help him systemize the company’s operational elements, which include day-to-day proctoring functions, the quality control team, training efforts and the assessment services team. He works out of ProctorU's Birmingham, Ala., office. Steve graduated from Troy University with a degree in criminal justice. He is an avid Florida Gators fan and has two daughters, MaKenzie and Payton. When Steve is away from the office he can be found carpooling to volleyball matches, playing with his dog Princess and enjoying a round of golf.
Chief Operating Officer

John is the chief operating officer for ProctorU. He joined the team in 2014, with over 20 years of experience in various industries. John has spearheaded client service strategies for companies including Costco, Pepsi, Sam's Club and most recently, Best Buy’s Geek Squad. He is passionate about improving the client experience at every touch point. John is a surfer, licensed helicopter pilot and Arizona State Sun Devil. He lives in Agoura Hills, Calif., with his wife, Lynn, and is a proud father to two daughters, Cassandra and Allison.

Jamie has focused on managing and leading venture-backed companies in the San Francisco Bay Area with a commitment to creating scalable processes, building enterprise value and executing strategic initiatives. She was promoted to vice president of finance in 2016 after working as controller and director of finance with ProctorU. In May of 2016, she received the Future CFO honor from the Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards. Prior to joining the company, she practiced public accounting before joining a client's team in the micro-finance industry. As part of senior leadership there, she helped triple the portfolio growth in two years. In 2010, she attained her CPA license from the State of California. Jamie completed her Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and a minor in economics from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2008. She is an outdoor enthusiast and actively supports youth services and women in business in the Bay Area.
